CJ Equine provides 24 hour emergency care within our practice area.

In an emergency, time can be critical. Acting quickly can minimize the consequences of many injuries and illnesses. Notifying us as soon as possible allows us to triage the situation over the phone.

Always contact us before giving any drugs or applying medications. Medications may mask important clinical signs or confound or delay an accurate diagnosis.

Remember: CALL us with your emergency. Speaking to us directly is the best way of alerting us to your situation. If no one answers, follow the instructions given for emergencies on the voice mail.

We love that we can text and email and private message on social media, but an emergency warrants a phone call.
